Sandra Downing: Masters in Health Fitness Management from American University in 1996. Over 20 years experience in fitness training in clubs, and with individual clients. Specializes in senior group classes and children/adolescents with developmental disabilities. CPR certified.
Jeannine Ward: Background in dance and gymnastics. Aerobics instructor from 1987 to present. Professional cheerleader with Washington Redskins for 3 years. Specializes in senior group classes. AFAA Certified since 2001, CPR certified.
Gerri Carpenter: Served in US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and received training in Occupational and Physical Therapy. Was self-employed for 15 years as a Registered Massage Technician before obtaining a BS degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland. Specializing in senior group exercise classes, assessment and treatment of postural imbalances, as well as working with people with developmental disabilities. CPR certified.
Margaret Arnold: 7 years' experience as an AFPA Certified Personal Trainer and AFPA Certified Group Fitness Instructor. Specializes in senior fitness and functional training, regular adult group classes, children/youth fitness, basic Hatha yoga, and basic Pilates. AHA and CPR certified.
Ruth Faller: 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry. Experience as a Group Fitness leader, Aerobics instructor, Step and Body Sculpting Class instructor for the Bethesda Chevy Chase YMCA, Since 1998, has worked exclusively as a Personal Trainer focusing on general fitness and rehabilitation conditioning for the 40 plus population. Certified by ACE as a group fitness leader and AFAA as a Personal Fitness Trainer. CPR certified. "I find helping individuals look and feel their personal best very exciting and rewarding work."
Erika J. Boykins: ACE -Certified Personal Trainer specializing in young clients and older adults in individual and group exercise class settings. Graduate of Howard University, 2003. Erika likes to promote the client's accomplishments, self esteem and overall attitude towards fitness. She is also CPR certified.
